Starling Box erected late 2016 ready for 2017 season. Hole diameter 45mm, floor is about 6 inches square (you can see I am ambidextrous can't you
They breed in loose colonies apparently so this may come to nothing but it's nice while it lasts. This bird does not seem to be searching for bugs when in the box so maybe it is looking for a possible nest site, we shall wait and see.
