Thanks for sharing the fledging Benn. They look a healthy lot and hopefully will do well. I know what you mean about seeing older dead chicks being removed. Not an easy watch. See you in 2023. Maybe next year the sparrows might decide to nest at ours. I looked over our fence and spied the sparrows nesting in the eaves of the school next door. Given the choice I think they would always choose a gap in a roof over a box Thanks Sammi. Good luck with the Sparrows Sammi. Ours never took to the Sparrow camera box we erected high up. The Great Tits used it this year though. Our Sparrows used the Swift boxes last year. This year I blocked the entrances until May but one still built after but abandoned the nest. Like you say they and Starlings seem to always prefer the roof gap! See you in 2023!
