OK so things have got a bit weird in the Robin nest. It looks like the wren has brought a fledgling in! I really don't know what is going on, but the wren has been in and out again all afternoon and then suddenly appeared with another, smaller (and fluffier) wren who has now settled into the nest full time. It seems to me to be a fledgling, and is occasionally making begging gestures towards what I assume is the mother.
Here's a pic - you can see "Mum" at the top, perched on the edge of the nest.. Now I wonder what the robin will think if it comes back??
