Thankfully next week looks dry and temps rising from 8 to 14/15 so should give everyone a big boost in activity. Yep, I think next week is the week Paul. Certainly if we get 10 days of sun, mild temps and no wind (as predicted) and I still haven't had another visit then I might start getting a bit twitchy. Fingers crossed, as ever! It can all change in an instant.. I think most people will get building next week, If not they should get first nest material atleast. I am hoping next week gets Tatty really started for me, Still only got 1 piece of moss and few small pieces of straw she must of brought in this morning because they wasn't there yesterday. Only seems to visit during the morning, That I miss cause cameras aren't on. But you know they have been in cause moss moved and today abit more material. I remember in 2015 I had a female who only visited my box at 9am every morning I kid you not every morning 9am without fail she would come in either with abit of material or nothing do nest wriggle and then nothing till 9am next day! This happened daily over 2 weeks until she was serious about building. Over the years I have seen all different behaviour, Female who start early but take 4 weeks to fully build nest, Then females who start late and take 2 days to fully build it. They really do keep you on your toes!
