They have fledged! they either left late yesterday afternoon or early this morning, hopefully the latter as we had torrential rain last night, I believe my other starling box also fledged yesterday so I am now officially starlingless 
never mind still have the blue tits and the robin chicks yet to hatch plus sparrows and the woodpigeons are back in their nest that was predated earlier by the magpies for a second attempt!
