8th just hatched at 20:05 on the vid - spends quite a bit of time with half an egg shell stuck to his head! Comedy moment! Bless it! It's stuck on there even when mum comes back and tries to eat it. Great quality stream, Matt. Really good angle on the camera, too. I think overhead is great for the early stages Pete, but I do like the sideview when they start to get a little bigger. Very hard to count eggs and chicks on the sideview though, and often blocked from a clear view by the edge of the nest cup, so they are both a bit of a compromise. Multiple cameras required! |
