Funny enough he's been in a couple of times since with grubs for her. I guess this is her first real day of sitting, so perhaps not so surprising that I hadn't seen him at all over the past week? Anyway, a good sign and I'm happy he's around. Should take a bit of the pressure off - both my previous nests the male did a runner!
