Haven't had time to observe any BT leg over activity here , but I have a suspicion it's happening around roosting time when the male brings her a bite to eat and she follows him out of the box for a short while before settling down. Also, news just in: neighbours a couple of doors away now have a BT nest build happening, at an earlier stage than my tree box. There've always been three BTs around the place, and I've suspected for ages it's two females and a male. So I think this new nest could be the other female. For quite some time my female's been defensively chasing off the other female of the three if she comes too close to the tree box.
