Ah yes I think my GT rooster had a mite problem too back in July, when it appeared in the box with all its head feathers missing.
Your robin’s a few days behind mine in terms of roosting all night on the nest, so I think mine must still have a fair few days of incubation still to go.
Thanks for the tip about the shuffles. I’m only assuming it’s the male based on always being first in the box for all the double visits, and looking generally brighter and slightly bulkier than the other half of the pair.
