The thought had crossed my mind that the 32mm entrance hole is the cause of all the competition.
I did buy a 25mm dia. metal plate last year thinking I'd make the hole more predator-proof, but I looked at it and it seemed so tiny I wondered how anything would fit through it at all, so I decided not to fit it.
Kind of wishing I had now.
