You know your box that doesn't look as "bright" with the led light? It any sun getting through the entrance hole?
I have noticed on sunny days my boxes exposed to good sunlight (all my south ones and my tree box in the back) don't look "bright"
I think its the bright sunshine reflecting into the box makes it loose its brightness.
Doesn't seem to affect the colour of the box when it enters however.
Just something have noticed with mine that are exposed to more light.
How you'll be able to tell if its this on duller days / just before dusk your camera will appear more brighter if not I don't know what the issue appears to be.
P,s just read your message again and see you are saying the led light isn't as bright rather than your picture so maybe it as nothing to do with what I am saying above.
