We get the odd one from the field at the back. It appears at dusk, mostly on summer nights.
Our bird feeders did attract rats which began to breed under the decking. With young children living and playing next door I had to call in pest control people. I now ensure I keep the areas clean under the feeders and move them around.
We also get an occasional visit from this cheeky beggar and his/her partner though. They gnaw the plastic openings on the feeder to get to the sunflower hearts.
