They have a camera mounted on that roof Sue, operating online 24/7.
A nesting box was initially built in an area, similar to those at various Cathedrals and Churches around the UK, but these birds decided to find their own nesting area, and fortunately it was in a place that afforded 24 hour viewing and although it wasn't possible to see the eggs and the hatching, (the nest is in the doorway in the front wall, but there is about a 6 inch drop to the floor inside, where the nest is) the chicks are now highly visible for long periods outside the nest.
