Fingers crossed, Karen. If she has found the mealworms, then perhaps all will be well. I remember my one and only nest from 3 years ago, and she brought 5 chicks (out of 11) to fledge, without a single bit of help from the male (who scarpered on day one!), and didn't find the mealworms either. So she should be in a better position than that, anyway. What is your estimate for hatching date? Do you work off 13-15 days from first day of incubation? Mine started on 7th, I believe (first "full" day on the nest, although she had spent increasing time over the days before). I am thinking 18th onwards..
