Just to let you know the two starling chicks successfully fledged this morning, fingers crossed they continue to do well with both parents in assistance 
Dad was just back in the nest box a moment ago looking like he was tidying up, second brood perhaps
The tree box is still having a nest built with 2 starlings present and it appears I may have another nest in the making but don't want to jinx anything too much but a pair of dunnocks have suddenly arrived and I have seen the female taking nesting material into a conifer in my back garden so will report back on that one!
