Taz's box 2021

Sounds like Sandy is doing a good job there Taz.  Maybe this new fella will eventually lend a hand with the upbringing, if not let’s hope he feeds Sandy to allow her time to care for the chicks 
My son watched as one of the parents of his great tits was predated yesterday, he thinks it was the male.  Did not see other parent for rest of the day so was very worried.  However, he saw two chicks fledge this morning before he left for work (whether out of hunger or the lone parent thought best to get them away from the nest box we don’t know).  Wonder if these birds know how much we fret over them
