An update for you all 
the 2 starling chicks are continuing to grow and do well as are the chicks at the front of the house by the sounds of it! the bluetits are still about but have only made fleeting visits to the box they nearly completed a nest around a week ago so suspect they are nesting elsewhere by now.
There appears to be a sparrow nest somewhere as there is a male sparrow chirruping loudly nearby, it sounds as if it is coming from the tree the starling box is in so maybe they were the culprits of the nest being destroyed?
will watch closely and report back!
