Whoops, sorry for lack of updates! Been out til late last couple of nights.
News from West Sussex is that either she, or another bird, came back late in the afternoon on Tuesday, resumed building, and roosted overnight. I honestly think it is a different bird to the one who was building/roosting the day before, but I don't know. When I get time, I might upload some comparison pics for Karen to take a look at!
The morning after - amazing! - no fight. The first morning after a roosting without a fight. This female continued building, including lots of soft material (our dog hair!), roosted last night and this morning passed off again without incident. Not much building today, but more soft stuff, which makes me think the nest might be almost ready. She is roosting in the box again, now.
