Well me having the cameras off lasted all but a day 
absolutely no will power 
I noticed on the outside camera (that I kept on) a bit of activity at the entrance hole to the sparrow nest box and look who paid a few visits today. Not sure if mr or mrs (?) but I didn't see a partner close by but it would be a lovely ending to the of this particular box. BUT I am not building up hope. The bird seemed to spend a lot of time at the entrance glancing both ways as if waiting to be challenged by Jack but no sign of anyone objecting
