Starling nest

Ok some developments here! starling box on house still has two chicks growing stronger everyday   the starling box in the tree is no more   not quite sure what happened but we found another smashed egg on our roof with a baby inside and the nest is no longer being visited by any birds. The one at the front of the house is still good, can hear the young and see parents go back and forth, they are older than the nest being observed at the back, sounds like there is more than two also   in response to Sammi it looks like the parents are feeding them mainly crane fly larvae but have also seen various flies and other bugs.
Now something else has happened, just yesterday a pair of bluetits have claimed my front garden box and have been furiously building, nest more or less 2/3rds finished already, not going to count my chickens just yet because neighbours have boxes too and they have been checking those out but completely unexpected for me especially so late in the year, will update if things look more serious in the coming days but this nest box is in a relatively high traffic area and is close to my front door so we have to be quiet!
