More strange goings on today! Tony(?) did his usual couple of inspections this morning, and then all quiet until suddenly, this afternoon, there was a completely frantic 45 minutes of action from the pair of them. In and out of the box, both wriggling, no material added (a little taken away), before they went off again, and haven't been back since. Really weird, who knows what they are doing? To make it even weirder, I am not even 100% certain this is Tony at all - it could be a different male altogether. Pretty sure same female, but looking a bit rough today (or recently in the pond).
