Such an awful shame the nest should end this way. It's nature's way I know but still always seems harsh. I'm glad ( wrong word really) in a way if was a fox and not a cat. I think they will quickly nest again and maybe it's why they do have more than one brood?
I am interested to see the footage if only to see if there is any way to protect a nest from attack, as I lost a nest last year(probably cat related)but on the other hand I'm not sure I could watch to the end
