A Question for Pete
Lots of activity in our garden today by sparrows who do nest in our eaves every year, blackbirds diving in and out of the ivy & the robin did still make a pig of itself on the fat balls. Yesterday, after managing to do a bit of weeding & digging up about 5 worms, I put them in a shallow dish near the fat balls, went & sat down & about 5 minutes later the robin came out of the Red Robin bush & after inspecting the dish sitting on the rim - it proceeded to take the first one straight back into the bush. After about one minute it took another one & over about 6 minutes the lot was gone! I don't know whether it's a female or a male but it does have a red breast. Going out this afternoon to do more weeding & worm collecting.
