Thanks for the info Paul, it is very interesting as you say how only one box gets taken, yet so many other options available 
also interesting that the female takes naps in there when there isn’t any reason for her to stay in there at this point.
Great pics of plumage and to see the different colours from the boring brown we see in the garden is beautiful.

This is why I love nest camaras on the forum, we see close ups of not only their behaviour, but their beautiful colours which we don’t get to see when they flitter in & out of our gardens at great speed!
