Sammi, lovely clip & I'll keep everything crossed for you that both your nest boxes are used. It would be really great if the sparrows did nest in that box, as up until now it's only been Paul who had one - I really loved the clips & news he put on about them. I'm so sorry Paul that as of yet there's no sign of your two regular sparrows, that's very upsetting for you & us. Lots of activity in our garden today by sparrows who do nest in our eaves every year, blackbirds diving in and out of the ivy & the robin did still make a pig of itself on the fat balls. Yesterday, after managing to do a bit of weeding & digging up about 5 worms, I put them in a shallow dish near the fat balls, went & sat down & about 5 minutes later the robin came out of the Red Robin bush & after inspecting the dish sitting on the rim - it proceeded to take the first one straight back into the bush. After about one minute it took another one & over about 6 minutes the lot was gone! I don't know whether it's a female or a male but it does have a red breast. Going out this afternoon to do more weeding & worm collecting.
