Hi Pete, i've got a wired analogue setup 700tvl camera and a seperate microphone i find the in camera mics can buzz sometimes probably because they are to close to the circuit board.
It is all connected to my computer which has two capture cards in it for each nest box.
I have a software program called Contacam which has movement detection, been using this for years easy to use and reliable it used to be free but now you pay for although its not expensive.
The guy who made the software is always updating it so it is compatible with a lot of cameras and capture cards.
What setup have you got Pete?
