Anyone else finding it very quiet at the moment? Beautiful weather the last couple of days, albeit cold nights (heavy frost this morning), but not a peep in the boxes. The sparrows and starlings seem to have disappeared entirely - doesn't even seem to be that much activity around the garden. Having never had sparrows before, I don't really know how they go about things. Do they choose, leave and then come back, or just get on with it?
