Sorry to spoil your thread, but I have to post this about the 6 cats next door. They are well fed, three times a day & they just kill for the sake of it. I have had to prune away the front branches of my small, weeping tree so that I can see clearly the trunk, as last year a cat suddenly jumped out & killed a sparrow in front of the tree. Plus, I've seen them playing with frogs & when I've gone out, they've either run off with them or left me with dead bodies - I have more "graves" in our garden than I can count!
