Well very quiet indeed for the past week or so, with all the cold weather. It wasn't looking too promising this morning, either; despite the milder temps, it was breezy and raining early here in West Sussex. However, just when I had given up on the day, Tony did a late round of three of the boxes (very late - they never seem to visit past around 10am for me, and this was 12.30 or so), so he is still around at least! (I was actually getting a little worried, since I hadn't even seen him on the feeder all week, and it has been very cold..).
Still very quiet on the starling/sparrow boxes though - no sign at all of them, and about a month ago they were looking in about 10x a day. I wonder when they start nesting normally?
