Good to hear about the concrete box getting a bit of action, Paul! I have 2 x 3 hole concretes, both used to get a few visits but now only one is, really. No complaints from me, though, if they end up nesting in it. Its the one in the same position as the nest I had three years ago, definitely seems their preferred spot in the garden. All quiet on the robin box in the bush though - not had a visit of any sort since before Christmas I think. Was only great and blue tits then, never a robin, so I doubt they were even scoping it as a potential nest site. Still, fingers crossed - there's definitely a robin in the garden, but no idea where it normally nests.
Fingers crossed for your sparrows - I think you were the only one to ever get them? I've had both my starling boxes inspected by them, but they've not gone inside.
