I now have a conundrum
Last year we had robins nesting unsuccessfully In 2 places in our garden. The nest box where the nest lasted through to chick stage has been raised up and we are in the process of nestling it into the shrubbery and we have had great tits investigate it for a couple of days. Surely it's not safe enough for them. It's close to the hole in the wall where great tits nested years ago. I have a hole plate I can put back on but even then it's a very shallow box. What shall I do 
Honestly it's so frustrating as there are plenty of what I would think are very suitable boxes for them to choose from.
