Hi Springtime I think that was the male in the box and there was another bird clinging to the entrance. Later on the outside bird did venture in but after the other one had left. So I think he was trying to entice her in with his sweet melody hehe!
I hope you see some action today. Its dry here for a change but very windy. I'm treating them to some early mealworms too which they're enjoying.
