Thanks folks. I am wishing time away till Spring with everything crossed for a nest. The garden sadly had a lot of pruning done to remove a massive overgrowth of clematis (which was spectacular but had caused the fences to give way) This means that the fences are now pretty much bare. I'm hoping this doesn't put them off too much. There is still plenty of cover though.
Our rooster which I think is a male now does have nights when he doesn't turn up. Does anyone else find this?
