I really don't know, The sparrows don't really visit my other boxes.
I have had 1 visit to my new starling box but that is probably cause its in back garden where I get around 40 sparrows feeding daily.
I think they might just like this box, I only have 1 of these boxes and as a little ledge (I'll post picture below think you've seen it anyway) this is the 4th year of having them in this box, I was going to change the box over the winter but I couldn't bring myself to do it incase they hated the new box.
Wouldn't want to lose my little sparrows they give me 2 or 3 broods a year and make my season longer
We have loads of sparrows around but only 1 nest so I think that shows they might be abit harder to get to nest in boxes, Bare in mind how many boxes I have around the garden!
