Everything looks great Karen, so glad a rooster turned up too! 
I'm sure you'll get something nesting next year in your boxes as they are des-res, but I do agree about your robin nest being very exposed. We have robins nesting in our very thick Red Robin bushes every year & they can't be seen at all except by me when I have crafty peeks. 
Last month I hid a child's metal watering can deep inside my Californian Lilac bush, managed to secure it safely so it stays upright (scratched to death in the process) & of course it won't heat up with the sun shining on it - so I'm keeping 
it may be used.
