Your probably right Paul, I had lots of males visit all though summer and I know they hibernate earlier, but visits became scant way before, through August, so I feel they may have found another source of food in a garden perhaps. Hopefully they will be back, for now the little one comes and he has it all to himself. So he will be happy.
