Another new comer tonight, Its a little hoglet! (camera makes it look bigger) Rescue on twitters told me to keep close eye on this one because its breathing looks a little laboured (could be things like lungworm) Little hoglets get things like that due to being apart from the mum and eating things like slugs that are full of lungworm. So i'll keep an eye on it, Hopefully he / she is okay! But this is the first hoglet of the year for me. Edit - just been privately talking to the rescue they told me not to intervene yet it may only have a respirstory tract infection but now its found a good food supply and getting good nourishment it will be able to fight this itself. Just been told to keep an eye out for coughing / sneezing and the breathing getting worse / going off its food if any of that happens it could be lungworm, so far its doing none of them 3 things thankfully.I'm learning so much about them off rescue this year, I am glad because it makes me aware what to look for now and I can spot it in time. This picture gives you a better idea how small it is, But even this still makes it look bigger!
