My local hedgehog rescue have put me on the list for suitable release garden, Meaning i'll be able to go and pick up hogs that need a garden to be set free again in after they're better.
Karen you may want to contact your local hog rescue and do something like this
The 3 main things they look for is
1, you already have hogs visiting showing they're in the area.
2, you supply food and water daily for them.
3, you have hog houses in the garden.
Hopefully this way hogs that don't get returned to the location they did come from have a better chance of life with regular food and hog houses!
They said it probably wont be until next year now because its rare they let the hogs back over autumn but I am looking forward to that the more hogs you can help the better for the numbers.
