Bluebirds blog and other nesting activity in Nebraska

The birds had a bad May. Normally most of the 20-25 birds from the boxes are out end of May. Now only 9 were successfully raised. Therefore, there are 5 nests with second attempt. Four chicks coming along nicely, rest are eggs. I always worry about hot weather in July. But as long as there is food they do not dehydrate.
