Matt, You should do if they are nesting under your roof, I didn't put this box up for the sparrows to be honest.
I just have half my boxes 28mm and half 32mm, I have tried boxes in past for sparrows with 3 holes so they nest close and it was never used.
However my single box with just standard 32mm hole gets used every year by then for 2 or 3 broods, I guess they just like there private time near mine
