Oh that’s brilliant Karen. Laughed at you doing your mother hen thing keeping babies safe. Because i’ve Only ever seen them after the fledging i’ve Had several land on the ground or low bushes etc and does seem like they take longer to get airborne from lower down. However, they do seem to hide themselves quite well and climb bushes to get a higher point for take off, so all should be ok. Sue ps, superb video Karen, really well put together. At least when they land on the ground it gives a great  photo opportunity , silver cloud and all that.
