Ann this is my Scott Feeder modified to admit nothing larger than a Great Tit. I've used garden plastic covered wire from Wilko's to stop access to the feeding dish which is a Yeo Valley yoghurt container set into the bottom of the cage (cage cut to fit the container). It is set 6-7ft up in my plum tree, no more than 12 yards from the nestbox. I can easily replenish the mealies without taking it down by using a washing conditioner plastic ladle. I can honestly say that nothing has been into that feeder other than GTs for the two or three years it's been out there. And the starlings don't even assemble their young in a line across the top of the fence panels waiting to be fed any more. My GTs use the feeder all the time making round trips in around 15-20 secs.
