hi kathy in the end i took all feeders down, we have so so many starlings with their chicks descend on the garden. its finally quiet and my feeders have gone back up, i have missed seeing my great tits robins, blue tits. the only thing that i found worked was my ground feeder, with ties on every section so the little birds were able to get in. i will look at a globe feeder, and invest in one, its worth paying out if it keeps the starlings away was it a garden nature one i do have squirrels but all my cage feeders they don't bother with now, they just dig holes in my pots and lawn. thanks for your advise
