I remember really researching when we got our first hog in the garden, I knew they could eat cat biscuits and cat wet tinned food.
But I didn't know things like peanuts, sunflower hearts, mealworms etc was bad for them.
Like you said so many hedgehog foods put these in aswell, Its ridiculous!
I just stick to cat food and spike hedgehog foods can't go wrong although Spike's do any Insect Crumble which is pretty poor for the hogs but the standard food can't fault it.
