Thanks all, just to put the record straight - I am not being forced to move into a flat/apartment, we have been talking about it for some time. Both getting older and too much work here. That is why this year I was hoping for some success in the bird box. Obviously I will be looking for a good size outside space and/or balcony but have to see. I didn’t mean to make a big deal out of this it was just I couldn’t answer when everyone was saying ‘hope it will be your turn next year’.
Yes, staying in Dorset , although have lived in the Far East (during hubbies service time) also many years in Devon, and Cornwall, but Dorset is where we were both born and where are family and friends are, so here we will stay. We were in Blandford just a couple of days ago Diane, lovely walk along the river. Very sad about sister-in-laws funeral, Diane, dreadful time for all funerals at the moment
Anyway, enough of me and my possible move, let’s get back to watching the rest of these birdie families fledge. Some great footage on here this year.
