Looks like a sparrow to me Sammi,
Dunnocks beak isn't that thick its longer and more pointy, Plus dunnock wouldn't have no reason to check out the box I don't think as they don't use boxes.
To me it looks very much like a sparrow beak, Possibly a male sparrow.
