Yes, I think by the sound of their racket, they are about ready to go I'd say....they are not weak newly hatched ones anyway! The nest was probably built, eggs incubated and hatched in the 6 weeks the company was shut...they probably don't know whats going on now, with all the people around again.
Discovered a second Coal Tit nest at home just this morning...its in our neighbours conifer tree so I can't take a proper look, but they are coming and going like nobodys business...this tree also has a Wood pigeon nest in the very top. So thats a popular tree!
Hedgehog came back to visit last night again...had the water out but he didn't take it. We do have a small stream which runs right along the back of our garden, to the rear of that hedge, so perhaps they prefer the natural water. I accidentally frightened the fox when I was putting the food out in the dark...he must have been just about to enter the garden, and I heard him galloping away into the bushes. So, he didn't return last night.
Ok, in work...shouldn't be goofing off like this...but its really hard to get back into it....talk later.
