Hi all, just an update. Had a teeny tiny hair pulling period yesterday, the male and female left chicks unfed for 3 and a half hours, so naturally thought they had gone. Fear not, they came back and boy was it frenzied feed I'm guessing they may do this to prepare them for fledging?
The local robin has managed to find it's way into the mealworm feeder and is now taking lot's of mealies, going to cost a fortune
The chicks all look really healthy, lots of wing flapping. It's getting a tad crowded in their nest, it's difficult to remember that they are still so young, they're all so big.
That's all for now from the house of Taz
