Bad news: A week ago today, our indoor patio sliding door came off the track in the half open position & my husband said that he thought the track had split. A man came to have a look at it (all lockdown distances kept of course) & he confirmed this. We're having to wait until a new one can be made & fitted, good job it wasn't an external patio door as we would have frozen to death!
Last Saturday, the washing machine broke down half way through it's cycle. Ordered a new one which arrived yesterday, put in the garage still in its packaging, contacted our plumbing firm & they are coming next Monday afternoon to sort everything out for us, including taking our old machine away. Therefore, not only a pile of washing to do next week, but another dent in our bank balance!
My husband is on the "at risk" register, so it may be months before we can see our daughter & grandchildren again or go out, so thank goodness for our back garden. Out of curiousity, is anyone else on this register besides Elle & me?
