I guess that is always a possibility Paul, but is strange that the dad just abruptly disappeared after feeding so regularly. Maybe, with having 9 to try and feed, and as so young, keep warm as well, she just couldn’t cope 
. Watched the playback of last night and they were certainly all begging for food continually. Guess we will never know for sure what happened but Malcolm is convinced it was the demise of Dad. Had she only concentrated on a couple of the chicks I guess she may have coped - but trying to feed them all......
Just hope everyone else’s stay safe and fledge successfully.
